Camagüey, 25 Jun.- In the province of Camagüey conditions are created to participate this 25th and 26th of June in the regional, comparative, explanatory study ERCE 2025, coordinated by UNESCO, to be developed in 19 countries, including Cuba.
The exam will measure both academic learning and socio-emotional skills of students in line with the objective of sustainable development on quality education, in the subjects of Mathematics, Spanish Language and Natural Sciences.
The Master of Science Rodaire Ramírez García, provincial head of primary education level pointed out that 19 educational institutions in the province, with the largest representation of the municipality of Camagüey with 8 schools, will participate in the exercise.
Third- and sixth-grade students from the municipalities of Sierra de Cubitas, Minas, Nuevitas, Guáimaro, Florida, Najasa, and Santa Cruz del Sur will also be present, representing an enrollment of 382 students.
For the success of these meetings, the different structures at provincial, municipal level, teachers and applicators were trained in which the family of the students is included.
This study will help education systems improve and incorporate educational policies for school improvement where more than 200 schools across the country will participate. (Text and Photo: Zenia Donet/Radio Cadena Agramonte)
