Camagüey, June 27th - The Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz University of Camagüey welcomed the Young Energy Expedition, which is currently touring workplaces, educational centers, and neighborhoods across the country to exchange about the nation's electro-energy projection.
The delegation included Carlos Vidal Brito Concepción, technical director of the Sergio Soto Refinery located in the municipality of Cabaiguán, and Yuri Llanes Castro, brigade chief of the Sancti Spíritus 2 Electric Substation.
During the exchange, the young workers reaffirmed the priority that the country places on electro-energy recovery and the confidence in the country's leadership.
For their part, the students expressed interest in the national strategies for transitioning the energy matrix and the provincial organization regarding the current contingency.
In the afternoon, the exchange continued with a multipliers workshop that included students from the University of Medical Sciences of the province.
The expedition members were accompanied by Dresmer Rojas and Yurisney Gil, members of the Provincial Bureau of the Young Communists Union; Juan Carlos Lacaba, customer service director at the Camagüey Electric Company; and Yariday González Baryolo, a member of the Youth Network of the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
