The route, which started from 26 de Julio Avenue to Plaza de la Libertad, brought together congas, comparsas and floats that paraded before the jury, presided over by Elsa María Avilés B.A., regisseur of the Camagüey Folkloric Ballet.
In this edition, around five congas, five floats, two comparsas, charangas and acrobatic groups demonstrated their talent under a defined thematic line: the Caribbean heritage.
The show stood out not only for the energy of the participants, but also for the care in the staging, with elaborate costumes and choreographies designed to highlight the essence of each group.

One of the most emotional moments was the presentation of the conga Los Comandos, which celebrates its 80th anniversary, consolidating itself as one of the oldest in Cuba. With the colors of the national flag and the unmistakable sound of drums and cymbals, the group shared with the public its rhythm.
Yadiel Agustín Sánchez Ramos, director of Los Comandos, recalled the origins of the group, founded in the 40s of the last century and stressed the importance of preserving this tradition as part of the cultural heritage.
"Although the local congas are not yet officially recognized as groups carrying tradition, their artistic and community work remains alive thanks to the generational transmission of this legacy," he added.
The San Juan Camagüeyano will have its second and last night of parade this Saturday, June 28, at 6:30 p.m., with the same route, in addition, the festivity will include the Children's San Juan, which will take place that same day at 8:00 a.m., promising fun for the whole family.
