Camagüey, July 7 – The municipal leadership of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP, for its acronym in Spanish) has outlined a set of actions aimed at achieving better results in livestock indicators.
Its president, Damiurka Rodriguez Izaguirre, stated that the plan includes evaluating, at each Administrative Board and Member Assembly, the difficulties faced by peasants who fail to comply with their delivery plans.
She will also coordinate with the Delegation of Agriculture to make the requests of land applications for collective use areas and the monitoring system for genetic improvement and cattle control this month.
At the same time it is planned to organize with the agricultural entities monthly, plenary sessions on breeding, and a quarterly session at the municipal level, and to define the potential for breeding bulls and the needs of each producer.
The ANAP in Camagüey also plans, together with the presidents of cooperatives, to follow up on the indicators that are currently deteriorating until their definitive solution. (Rodolfo Medina Hechavarría/Radio Camagüey) (Photo: Granma Digital)
