Camagüey's Commerce Sector will inaugurate social and economic works

Camagüey, July 8 – The province's commercial sector plans to inaugurate several works that will benefit the territory both economically and socially, as part of the activities for the 72nd anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada barracks, in Santiago de Cuba, and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, in the Monument City.

One of the most notable initiatives is the launch of the union's children's home, located at 151 Luaces Street, corner of San Pablo, in the capital city. This work seeks to support working mothers and families in the community. In recent weeks, comprehensive repair work on the facility has intensified after more than a year of work. The infrastructure includes a kitchen, two bathrooms, four classrooms, and a main space, all of which are currently being completed.

Currently, with the support of colleagues from the Commerce Business Group, the Wholesale and Universal Companies, along with other companies, the hired bricklayers are focusing on painting, warehouse renovations, as well as hydraulic and electrical installations.

Work is also underway to restore storehouses and inaugurate several buildings in the municipality of Minas, scheduled for July 26th.

The commitment of workers in the Commerce sector to commemorate this historic date also includes meeting sales goals, strengthening retail mercantile circulation, offering quality services, advancing digital transformation, and improving sector management.
