Camagüey, 25 jul.- The Government of this province received the status of Center on 26, at its own headquarters, with the presence of workers of that institution, who were also recognized for their work as part of the actions on the ocassion of the National Rebellion Day.
“In this space, we pay tribute to those who sustain life, defend it with sacrifice, dedication, and commitment, and contribute to the tasks of the labor movement For Cuba Together We Create,” said Ana Belkis González Francis, general secretary of the Public Administration Union Bureau in Camagüey, who presented recognition to the Secretary of Government, Carlos Salvador Tejón Pérez.
During the tribute, they also awarded the Diamond Seal with the Soul of a Kiss, granted by the Provincial Secretariat of the Cuban Workers' Federation to honor the memory of Major General Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz, to the governor of the district, Jorge Enrique Sutil Sarabia, "because he is an example of a leader and one of the best sons of our heroic people," González Francis noted.
During the tribute, they also awarded the Diamante con alma de beso Seal, granted by the Provincial Secretariat of the Cuban Workers' Confederation to honor the memory of Major General Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz, to the governor of the province, Jorge Enrique Sutil Sarabia, "because he is an example of a leader and one of the best sons of our heroic people," González Francis noted.
The meeting was an opportunity to recall the 64th anniversary of the founding of the Public Administration Union, celebrated on July 4, and the 72nd anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks. They also reaffirmed the validity of the ideals of those in the epic of July 26, 1953, symbols of resistance, unity and struggle for the sovereignty of the Cubans. (Source: Adelante)
