Camagüey, August 11.- The Municipal Assembly of People's Power in Camagüey, in its most recent ordinary session, thoroughly analyzed the incidence of crime, illegalities, and social indiscipline during the current calendar.
Until June, there was restraint in general crime, reflected in the seven popular councils with greater incidence: Vigía-Florat, San Juan de Dios, Centro, La Esperanza, Garrido-Caridad, Modelo-Imán and Jayamá.
The main incidents involve thefts with force and violence, predominantly occurring in homes with the removal of liquefied gas cylinders, turbines, electrical equipment, scooters, cell phones, and jewelry.
Regarding incidents against livestock, there was a decrease compared to the same period last year, with 107 incidents, concentrated in the territories of San Blas and Jayamá.
Widespread illegal activities in Camagüey's capital include individuals carrying out self-employment activities without a permit, illegally occupying state-owned premises, and selling unauthorized and dubious products, among others. (Text: Rodolfo Medina Hechavarría/Radio Camagüey) (Photo: Internet)
