Havana, August 14.- The province of Camagüey achieved the status of National Vanguard in the Culture in Revolution emulation movement, sponsored by the Cultural Workers Union (SNTC, for its acronym in Spanish), the Ministry of Culture, the Information and Communications Institute, and the Propaganda and Events Company.
"It is essential to equalize opportunities across all provinces to achieve better results at our union's Second National Conference", stated Katia Rodríguez Ramos, general secretary of the SNTC.
Rodríguez Ramos also reported that the territories of Holguín and Guantánamo were recognized, and Isla de la Juventud, Matanzas, and Ciego de Ávila received special recognition.
The union leader emphasized that the emulation, in its first stage, aims to implement timely incentive to recognize efforts and reward results, based on efficient comprehensive management.
She urged workers and managers in other territories to strengthen the emulation, as we have many aspects to consolidate in our mission of representation. Now is the time. We are in a decisive stage in honor of the upcoming Second Conference of our organization, she emphasized.
