Camagüey Local Development Project promotes digital transformation

Camagüey, September 5. – The co-Lab Camagüey Local Development Project is working to meet the goals of the innovation axis that includes the Digital 2030 Agenda.

The project attaches great importance to training, including citizen participation, which takes advantage of many useful tools.

Reynaldo Alonso Reyes, project leader, commented on the Cuban Union of Computer Scientists' Digital Transformation Event, an opportunity to showcase research advances in this field.

co-Lab Camagüey has had an impact on various sectors such as culture, heritage, science and technology and education. In 2024 this PDL encouraged the support of 18 entrepreneurs through incubation and acceleration programs, facilitating the realization of innovative ideas and their entry into the market by these actors.

Cuba has five innovation laboratories, including the one in Camagüey. These centers represent a key platform to materialize the objectives of the Cuban Digital Agenda. (Text and photo: TV Camagüey)
