Camagüey, September 10. - The Base Business Unit of the Central-East Communications and Electronics Group, which belongs to the Ministry of Transportation and covers the provinces of Las Tunas, Ciego de Ávila, and Camagüey, is hosting a commemorative program for the centennial of the birth of the historic leader of the Revolution.
Yanely Castillo Rodríguez, head of the team, made up of 16 workers and of which she is the founder, highlighted the legacy of the Commander-in-Chief, who, more than 15 years ago, promoted the development of tools for fuel control and to support the country's economy.
She stated that the team's aspirations are focused on becoming a leading company in telecommunications technologies, in the transport sector, and in other strategic sectors of society.
Spoke of the mission to operate and market systems, as well as equipment integrated with fleet management and control, a task created by Fidel and that currently has valuable colleagues to take on the challenges of the present, especially, young people under the age of 35, who represent more than 85% of the entity.
The commitment of the GCOM Central-East employees on the centenary of the birth of the historical leader of the Revolution also lies in providing excellent solutions and alternatives to maintain services in the neighboring provinces and in their headquarters in Camagüey, with brigades of competent technicians that assume the technical services of all transport companies with Global Positioning System (GPS) installed in cargo and passenger vehicles.
