Starting today, signature collection process in Cuba in support of Venezuela


Havana, Sep 24. - One more sample of support to Venezuela, and its president, Nicolás Maduro, begins from today in Cuba with a process of signatures in support of the recent statement of the Cuban Revolutionary Government, which alerts about the urgency of preventing a military aggression against the South American nation.

Signature books will be opened in all workplaces, schools, and communities until September 30, as announced by Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Party, during his meeting in Caracas with the Venezuelan head of state.

Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, emphasized that this signature process reaffirms his country’s support for Venezuela.

“Starting this Wednesday, 9/24, our signatures will join our expressed and unwavering solidarity with the legitimate President of #Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and his brave people, subjected to one of the most infamous campaigns of the empire,” wrote the president.

According to today’s edition of Granma, official organ of the PCC Central Committee, on the final day of the process, September 30, acts, cantatas and other activities will be carried out with a massive character, in support of Venezuela.

 After the signature process concludes, the books will be delivered to President Nicolás Maduro. (Text and photo: ACN)
