Camagüey implements actions against crime, corruption, and indiscipline after the IV National Exercise

Camagüey, October 2 – Several actions are being carried out in Camagüey to combat crime, corruption, illegalities, and social indiscipline, which were reinforced during the recently held IV National Exercise of this type.

In this regard, a multidisciplinary group comprising agencies such as Finance and Prices, Labor and Social Security, the National Tax Administration Office (ONAT, for its acronym in Spanish), Territorial Planning and Urbanism, Public Health, and the Inspection Directorate visited state and private entities.

Violations related to documentation, hygiene, tax evasion, the use of payment gateways, failure to open tax bank accounts, pricing, and the use of workers without contracts, among others, have been detected.

In many of these new economic actors, even though vital services are provided and there is high public attendance and acceptance, the established rules are not being followed; for this reason, appropriate measures will be taken in each case.

Fines, migration regulations, analyses with the governing bodies of these procedures, and even the closure of the activity without the right to opt for a new form of non-state management will be applied, which will be informed in due time.
