
Camagüey, October 25. - The constant updating of official communication channels, both provincial and municipal, on the evolution of Tropical Storm Melissa is among the priorities indicated by the highest authorities in Camagüey.
José Díaz Hernández, provincial director of Information and Social Communication, reported that special attention is being given to radio stations in coastal municipalities to check alternatives to maintain vitality in case of any meteorological contingency.
In those collectives, special programming is anticipated if necessary, and guidance has been provided to consider the principles of Crisis Communication, defined in the Social Communication Law.
