November progresses and the Santa Cruz del Sur lobster fishermen don't stop

Santa Cruz del Sur, Camagüey, November 10 - November is getting underway and the lobster fishermen of the Episur Fishing Company in Santa Cruz del Sur remain in the fishing zone to meet the agreed-upon targets and contribute to the national economy.

Leading this fleet is the crew of the LP-358, commanded by Wilfredo Pla del Toro, a Santa Cruz native with more than 35 years of experience in the extraction of the Queen of the Caribbean. They already met their capture plan last month and will continue for more as long as the season lasts.

In the image is almost the entire crew: Marel, the machinist, who has been here for more than 25 years; Lázaro, the cook, who has around three decades of service; and Yusdel, one of the sailors, with more than 15 years in the company and a first experience in the sea cucumber fleet.

Rosmaikel did not appear in the snapshot for health reasons, but he is already on board the ship. He is the other sailor and has worked at this productive center for more than a decade; he was also part of the sea cucumber fleet.

From this amalgamation of responsibilities and experiences, this EPISUR crew that today leads the lobster fishing is nourished. These are results they have repeated for two consecutive years, making them worthy of the respect and admiration of all.

Congratulations to our invincible seafaring people and the best vibes for the wind to blow in favor of this vanguard team that always privileges and makes us proud. (Taken from the Facebook profile of the Fishing Company EPISUR). (Radio Santa Cruz) (Photo: Taken from the Internet)
