Havana, Dec. 2 - Cuba, along with Mexico, is among the countries with the most short fiction films competing in this category at the Havana New Latin American Film Festival.
The film “Pupa,” by Leandro de la Rosa, centers its story on Matías, an experienced psychiatrist who has been treating Boris, for several years, a troubled patient who shows no signs of improvement.
However, despite the setbacks and the difficult situation the doctor faces, the two have much in common.
Other short fiction films that Cuba will present in this section at the 46th Havana New Latin American Film Festival are “Norheimsund” and “Primera enseñanza” (First Lesson).
The biggest film event held in Cuba every December is already knocking on the doors of every hall and has been underway for several days now, "Rolling Film," as the slogan of the festival, which runs from the 4th to the 14th of the last month of the year, aptly states. (Text and photo: PL)
