
Havana, Dec 10. - The Varadero resort will host the 3rd International Symposium Gender, Sport and Society in an Environment of Social Inclusion.
Scheduled for April 8-12, 2026, in a hybrid format, the event will bring together researchers, professors, and sports managers. It is organized by the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER, for its acronym in Spanish), the Cuban Sport Research Center, and the University of Physical Culture and Sports Sciences.
Representatives from more than 10 countries and 15 national institutions will participate to exchange experiences and research findings, inclusive public policies, legal norms, and social work practices.
Educational institutions in the sports sector and those supporting it, research centers, associations, federations and other organizations will contribute to the socialization of community-based, healthy and sustainable environmental work.
It also aims to promote the organized practice of sea and beach sports and the holding of international tournaments in Cuba.
The presented papers will have ISBN numbers and digital certificates for all participants. The symposium will take place at Gran Caribe hotel group facilities, with the support of sponsoring entities.
