
Havana, Jan 29. - The International Jazz Plaza Festival 2026 will continue today with a broad cultural program that will bring together Cuban and foreign artists at various venues in this capital.
The Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater of Cuba will host the concertHavana and New York AfroCuban Jazz Piano, with the American Christian Sands and the Cuban Dayramir González, accompanied by singer Yanet Valdés and the Spanish group Compota de Manana.
Cubans Rolando Luna, YilianCañizares, and Liliet Orozco will be the stars of the evening at the Covarrubias Hall, with the show FromLecuona to Ravel, at 18:00 local time.
From the National Museum of Fine Arts, the iconic Bobby Carcassés will offer From Blues to Songo and Son, at 19:00 local time, while the Pabellón Cuba joins the great jazz festival with Son Matamoros, Papa Mambo from Canada, the Conjunto Roberto Faz, and Yarima Blanco y su Son Latino, at 14:00 local time.
Also in the evening, the Fábrica de Arte Cubano will present the Cuban Suite by the Amina Figarova Sextet, with musicians from Azerbaijan, Belgium, Cuba, and the United States, while the SeptetoSantiaguero will close the day at Nave 4.
With concerts by different representatives of the international scene, the Culture’s Houseof Plaza de la Revolución, the César Jazz Club, the CorazónFeliz House, the Rap Agency, and the AmadeoRoldán Conservatory, among other cultural institutions, are added to the program. (Text and photo: PL)
