Over 120 organizations launch movement against blockade on Cuba

Havana, Feb 6.- Over 120 organizations and youth movements from 61 countries launched the international movement "All Voices for Cuba," a permanent campaign of solidarity and denunciation against the United States blockade, it was announced today.

The launch took place during an International Youth Solidarity Meeting with Cuba, led by the First Secretary of the National Committee of the Union of Young Communists (UJC, for its acronym in Spanish), MeyvisEstévez.

The initiative seeks to coordinate and amplify actions globally to "break the media blockade" that attempts to silence the effects of the economic suffocation on Cuban families, reported the newspaper Juventud Rebelde.

The movement brings together a broad spectrum of youth forces from all continents: 55 organizations from 19 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean; 12 from eight African nations; seven from the Middle East; 11 from Asia and Oceania; 35 from Europe and Canada; and even three organizations based in the United States itself.

Among the participating entities are the World Federation of Democratic Youth and the International Youth Organization for Ibero-America.

The participants analyzed and unanimously condemned the recent executive order by the Donald Trump administration, dated January 29, 2026, which declares Cuba an "unusual and extraordinary threat" and imposes a total blockade on fuel supplies.

It was emphasized that in a country that allocates over 70 percent of its Gross Domestic Product to free social services, the lack of fuel directly threatens the life and well-being of the population, demonstrating the illegal and immoral nature of the measure.

The youth also condemned the U.S. aggression against Venezuela and the kidnapping of President NicolásMaduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.

The action plan of "All Voices for Cuba" includes amplifying content that shows the reality of the island, the systematic denunciation of each new aggressive measure, and public mobilization. (Text and photo: PL)
