Havana, Feb 13.- RUTH Publishing House, the introducer and pioneer of the digital book in Cuba, as well as a benchmark in the distribution of Cuban and Global South literature, is celebrating today a great Virtual Digital Book Fair with the largest platform for ebooks by Cuban authors and other writers from the five continents.
SarayÁlvarez Hidalgo, director of the prestigious publishing house, stated that under the slogan "The Fair in your pocket with RUTH Store", they have prepared this great Virtual Fair that will take place during the rest of the month, where access will be available to catalogs with more than 60 themes for all ages and audiences and over 290 new literary titles in digital format.
Added to this is that for months the platform has had an unprecedented technological transformation: an innovative design has turned it into a multiplatform with superior advantages compared to the store seen up to 2025, she added.
This time, Álvarez Hidalgo noted, the purchasing process is much easier and faster; in just two steps you can buy from the comfort of home or work; and the search has been optimized to easily find a product by title or part of it, by author, by theme, or by ISBN.
She also highlighted that the integration of a WhatsApp messaging button into the store allows each user to have a personalized experience in real time.
Another competitive advantage of the multiplatform is the speed of navigation, as well as the existence of a wish list and order and download management directly from the platform itself; while the Blog will have greater visibility by integrating its content into the store and social media, she said.
Returning to the Virtual Fair, which will be accessible from this Friday, the executive highlighted that RUTH Store constitutes a unique digital space to showcase the heritage, music, art, customs, and traditions of the peoples, thus fulfilling the preservation of historical memory in a didactic and accessible way.
