Havana, Feb 23.- New international days of rejection of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba took place this weekend in various cities around the world, with caravans, marches, and demonstrations by Cuban residents and solidarity organizations, reported the portal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cubaminrex.
The actions took place in countries such as South Africa, Argentina, Bolivia, the Bahamas, Canada, the United States, Dominica, the Netherlands, and Türkiye, where the coercive measures were denounced and an end to a policy that affects the daily life of the Cuban people was demanded.
In Santa Cruz de la Sierra, cultural events and historical tributes were held, while in Nassau caravans were organized, in Ottawa marches, and in Istanbul protests, all with the purpose of reaffirming the unity of Cuban residents and the support of solidarity organizations.
These days confirmed that Washington's hostile policy is increasingly isolated and that international solidarity is strengthening as a pillar in the defense of truth, peace, and justice.
The Cuban people thanked the expressions of support received, which reaffirm that Cuba is not alone and that the fight against the blockade is strengthened by the force of the peoples who defend sovereignty and dignity. (ACN) (Photo: Takenfrom Internet)
