Pictasocial network enables direct signal of Cuban television channels

Havana, Mar 11.- The Cuban streaming platform Picta announced the incorporation of the direct signal of national television channels in its web version, with the aim of offering greater stability in content viewing.

According to information released by the digital service on its Facebook profile and confirmed by the Cuban Television profile on the same social network, the update will allow for a reduction in transmission interruptions and facilitate access to television programming from computers and mobile devices connected to the internet.

Through this option, users will be able to access Tele Rebelde, Cubavisión, Canal Habana, Canal Educativo, Canal Educativo 2, Canal Clave, Canal Caribe, and CubavisiónInternacional in real time.

Picta, created in 2017 as part of the Z17 Project by the University of Information Sciences and the Telecommunications Company of Cuba, has established itself as an audiovisual distribution space featuring national releases, restored classics, and Latin American co-productions.
