Camagüey, June 24.- Banish the justifications in order to satisfy the needs of food and services to the population was the call of the member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and its first secretary in the province of Camagüey Federico Hernández Hernández.
The foregoing transpired in the economic plenary session, where the highest authorities and directors of companies from all municipalities evaluated the results of the main indicators until the end of April 2022, with an emphasis on rigor in conducting and changing work methods.
At the meeting, the potential of several localities was recognized and the need to reverse, from a critical perspective, the complex agricultural and social situation of the province was insisted on.
To dialogue with workers, farmers and cooperative members, diversify productions, implement the agricultural development strategy in each of the territories and boost positive experiences, came from the agreements to transform negative indicators, mainly in sectors such as Agriculture, Aqueduct and sewerage, the Trade Company, the Food Company, Local Industries and Construction Materials.
Likewise, Yoseily Góngora López, governor of Camagüey, insisted on the search for solutions that are effective in the short term, while she valued the business system of the Camagüeyan region, made up of more than one hundred entities, as unfavorable.
In another order of information, the 27 lines aiming at exporting sales were acknowledged, among them, Pescacam's HG tench, Cultisur's artificial shrimp and charcoal that seek to boost the economy and are groups that are in a position to stand out in this activity, an essential element within the transformations proposed by the highest leadership of the country.
In the report it was also known that the total net sales are breached in almost sixty companies in the province, of which 42 belong to the national subordination and the rest to the provincial government.
Similarly, the territories with the highest debts in tax collection are the main city, Santa Cruz del Sur, Florida, Nuevitas and Jimaguayú, municipalities that must consolidate multisectoral strategies.
In this sense, the application of science and innovation is important, as well as the link and productive chains, mainly in the housing program, one of the most affected in the province.
Faced with this unfavorable situation in the economic-social strategy, the constant exchange with the workers and the people in general is decisive, eliminating bureaucratic obstacles and seeking solutions in each labor group to achieve progress and enlightenment of the economy in Camagüey.
