Friday of Arab and Islamic solidarity with Palestine (+ Photos)


Beirut, Oct. 20.- Dozens of citizens in Lebanon today organized a maritime march in the port of Saida in support of the resistance and the cause of the Palestinian people.

The activity at the so-called South Gate rejected all displacement attempts despite the mechanisms of fear and intimidation used by the Israeli government.

On the day, the Lebanese also staged acts of solidarity in this capital and in the Tire region, demanding greater international support for the struggle of the Palestinian nation.

Crowds of citizens of Iraq left for the border in Jordan to raise their voices in defense of Palestine and to highlight the bravery of the resistance fighters.

According to the pan-Arab channel Al Mayadeen, along with Friday prayers, marches in support of Palestine toured all of Iraq's governorates.

Other displays of sympathy occurred in Algeria and Iran in support of the people of the Gaza Strip, in light of the persistent aggression of Israeli forces.

The Iranian capital witnessed a demonstration in Mother Square in solidarity with mothers and children in Gaza.

In Egypt, squares are preparing to receive demonstrations called by activists and political parties in solidarity with Palestine and in support of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in his position condemning the displacement of residents of the Strip to the African nation.

From Yemen, citizens turned out in large crowds to Gamal Abdel Nasser Street in the center of the city of Taiz, in the southwest of the nation, in support of the accession of the people of Gaza to their land.

Almost two weeks after the start of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, residents in several Arab and Islamic countries condemned the Israeli aggression and endorsed the centrality of the Palestinian cause. (Text and photos: PL)
