Kindergatens benefit mothers and fathers in Camagüey

Camagüey, February 25.- With some 300 capacities, 13 kindergarten facilities operate in Camagüey, a variant of educational care, which extends throughout nine municipalities of the province for the benefit of mothers and fathers, both students and workers from organizations such as Education, Public Health and the General Customs of the Republic.

Magalys Rodríguez Delis, integral methodologist of the Provincial General Directorate of Education, told the Cuban News Agency that the opening of institutions of this type by the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey (OHCC) is expected soon, and the Education and Construction sectors, while continuing to advance in the methodological preparation of educators.

In this regard, she highlighted that this training is carried out in children's centers, since they work with the same study programs, and even, based on the work agreements, they develop teaching aids that are very useful for infants, as are the donated resources by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), including toys, refrigerators, microwaves, televisions and fans that allow the educational teaching process to be developed with better conditions.

In the Kindergarten, a children's house located in the Aguedo Morales Reina primary school, in the Los Coquitos neighborhood, in the main city, the five-year-old Yoandri Maykel Soler learns something new every day and this is demonstrated by his drawing skills, identify the colors, even to talk with this reporter with the innocence and naturalness characteristic of those who know how to love.

Regarding the education that the children receive there, Sonia Prooks Poulút says that since the founding of that institution two years ago, the main mission of the group has been to teach them to function independently, whether in the processes of snack, lunch, sleep, such as in role plays, programmed or independent activities.

Graduated since 2018 from the Nicolás Guillén Batista Pedagogical School, Dianelis Taura Morales, educator responsible for the aforementioned kindergarten, explained that 15 children are currently cared for, the majority of working parents in the education and public health sectors, and among the main contents that are taught, he mentioned animals, colors, geometric figures, sets, among others.

For Lianné Díaz Vega, a third grade teacher at that school, there are several benefits of this variant of educational care, since not only is she sure that her little Raúl Milan Ramos Díaz is very close to her, but she is also well cared for and learns from the hand of its educators to grow in a kindergarten.

At the Carlos J. Finlay University of Medical Sciences in Camagüey, the Dreams of Childhood children's house is also consolidated as a space for learning and development of the 23 children who receive educational attention there from a dedicated teaching staff to the teaching profession.

We work with different ages, said Ileana Serrano Rodríguez, second educator responsible for a mixed classroom where the main activities are aimed at knowledge of the world of objects, onomatopoeic sounds, as well as educational games so that they assume the functions of the home or the various professions.

With 12 years of work experience linked to early childhood, Serrano Rodríguez stated that if there is one thing he enjoys daily, it is that children advance in different areas of development, while parents feel satisfied and pleased.

Precisely thanks to the benefits provided by the kindergartens, Lilibeth Pino García was able to resume her work as a resident in Comprehensive General Medicine and begin the process of adapting her daughter Alisnet Castillo Pino to a place where she knows she will receive a quality education, because If there is one thing he recognizes, it is the dedication of the ladies who work there.

For Aylen Peña Ayala, a worker at the National Tax Administration Office (ONAT) in Camagüey, the creation of kindergartens provides multiple benefits for mothers and fathers, both students and workers, which is why she believes that more organizations should join in. an initiative that needs to be multiplied throughout the province as another important achievement of Cuban education.
