Exportable tobaccos from Camagüey


Camagüey, March 20.- More than a dozen assortments of tobacco destined for export are made in Camagüey from the leaves that are received with the necessary quality for that purpose from central and western provinces.

Yudenia López Salomón, general director of the Provincial Tobacco Collection, Processing and Twisting Company, highlighted the knowledge and quality of the staff, specifically those who work at the El Surco factory, a distinguished entity in the Camagüey territory.

She explained that the Marketing Company of the TABACUBA Business Group ensures the raw materials to make exportable brands such as José L. Piedra, Cohíba, Magnum, Partagás and others, as well as for national consumption.

The Camagüey Provincial Tobacco Collection, Processing and Twisting Company has a plan this year for more than one million 200 thousand cigars, and the majority is planned for the exporter Habanos S A. (Text and photo: Radio Reloj)
