Behavior of basic services in Camagüey

Camagüey, April 10.- The Temporary Government Working Group, in this municipality, once again evaluated the behavior of the population's basic services.

A large part of the meeting was dedicated to a detailed analysis of solid waste collection and street sweeping, activities that are improving but still do not reach the required levels.

Information was also given on the distribution of products from the basic- supply rationing for the month of March, including sugar, eggs and potatoes, and other pending products such as pure, salt and coffee that will be delivered soon.

Some issues discussed in depth at the meeting were the water supply and the elimination of obstructions, fronts in which the desired progress is not being made despite the monitoring of the territory's authorities.

Yoandrys Ruiz Villalón, first secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in Camagüey, insisted on the need for the directors of the different entities to be more agile in solving the problems that affect the people. (Text and photo: Radio Camagüey)
