Proposals for the Camagüey’s families during the holiday week


Camagüey, April 15.- Various proposals aimed at healthy recreation and family enjoyment will be offered by facilities and entities in Camagüey for the holiday week, in conjunction with the mass and student organizations of the province.

The Casino Campestre – which will host the El Trompo children's fair – and the Camilo Cienfuegos amusement park – where the swimming pool, the dollhouse and all the equipment will be available, except the train – will be the main venues for the activities, too, with gastronomic offers.

Added to this will be the Sports and Culture directorates, social workers and promoters, who will also reach the communities in transformation in close coordination with the delegates of People’s Power.

Domino matches, softball, sports marathons, festivals of traditional games, exhibitions of canine sports and martial arts, visits to the homes of children without family protection and the Eduardo Agramonte Piña pediatric hospital, competitions of typical Cuban dances and presentations of groups and soloists of the Provincial Council of Houses of Culture.

Daniel Iglesias Guzmán, coordinator of Programs and Objectives of the Provincial Government of Popular Power, reported that the hotel chains, the Popular Camping Company and the Palmares non-hotel branch maintain their programming; while the Business Group of Commerce guarantees the vitality of its network of centers and in some, attention to new generations will be especially enhanced, in close alliance with the Union of Young Communists and mass organizations.

The nights dedicated to the music of the Prodigious Decade, the days in swimming pools and the activation of units and sites such as the Botanical Park, La Volanta, the Centro Cultural Recreativo Casino, El Castillito, Arroyón, La Paella and the Lake of Dreams, They are among other options for the teaching recess week in Camagüey.
