Rome, January 17.- The Italian association Semi di Pace (Seeds of Peace), announced today the participation of 11 of its members in the VI International Conference for the Balance of the World, which will take place in Cuba from January 28 to 31, 2025.
A statement published by that organization indicates that the delegation that will attend this event, convened by the José Martí International Solidarity Project, will be headed by its president, Professor Luca Bondi, and among its members is Irene Abra, current European ambassado. for the climate, from the Methodist Church.
In the text, Semi di Pace highlights that this world meeting will be held in Havana within the framework of the commemoration, on January 28, of the 130th anniversary of the fall in combat of the Cuban independence fighter José Martí, a great universal thinker whose work, deeply humanist, maintains extraordinary validity.
He points out that Martí's thought, around which the debate will focus, stimulates efforts in favor of sustainable development, social justice, the elimination of poverty, access to health, education and culture, and international cooperation, of multilateralism, respect for the rights of others, dialogue and peace.
It is an important academic space, where scientists from various branches of knowledge, professors, researchers, social activists and intellectuals will participate, who regardless of their origin, culture, political position or religious belief, will meet to reflect on the main problems contemporaries.
Among the purposes of these debates is the definition of common objectives that allow for unity of global action, as well as the raising of awareness among international public opinion, to sow ideas about the fight for a better, more just and peaceful world, which will allow look to the future with hope.
