Among the actions to enhance the tourist value of the resources in La Liliana, in Jimaguayú, the identification of the biota and the conception of the plan for its management and protection, the planning of investments for infrastructure for public use and the design of trails and signage.

This last aspect also stands out in El Justo, belonging to the municipality of Camagüey, together with the advice and certification process of the most hygienic and safe Tourism condition, the design of vernacular facilities and the promotion and visibility on social networks.

In the aforementioned agroecological farms, the potential of Camagüey localities is evident, since without neglecting the fundamental task that is food production, they add added value for the good of the economy, commented Herrera Pupo.

The Camagüey Rural Tourism project promotes agroecological tourism, agrotourism and rural lodging and is part of the provincial strategic line called Sustainable Local Tourism Management, approved by the Provincial Government Council and with 11 programs aimed at the development of that sector, that another one will be added soon.

The use of the endogenous attractions of Camagüey localities constitutes a premise for the rise of tourism in Camagüey, also in rural environments, and in all municipalities attractions of one kind or another have been identified to be included in the product portfolios.
