Israel attacks air defense facilities in southern Syria


Moscow, April 19.- Israel’s Air Force launched a missile attack against Syrian territory early this Friday that caused material damage to air defense positions in the south of the country, the Syrian news agency SANA reported. The attack occurred around 2:55 local time.

During the early hours of April 19, explosions occurred in the territories of Iran and Syria. Some media outlets also reported an attack on Iraq, but the country's authorities denied the information.

Israeli planes reportedly attacked an airport in As-Suwayda, located in southern Syria. According to local media, these airstrikes targeted sites belonging to the Syrian Army. (RT) (Photo: Illustrative image Gettyimages.ru)
