Van Horne Boulevard is a new attraction in Camagüey city. The street was in construction for a long time and today people from Camagüey can enjoy modern railway history from diverse proposals.
It was necessary to go up to the viewpoint of the cathedral of Camagüey. Once above we forgot the fatigue and dizziness that the stairs caused us as we went upstairs. We breathed and filled with satisfaction a city was shown with almost 505 years old, just as beautiful but closer to heaven.
Santiago de Cuba counts with many museums and places to approach the history and its protagonists; spaces that move us to a glorious past and summon to the reflection on what we are today. But it is perhaps Santa Ifigenia cemetery, founded in 1868 and considered an open-air museum, one of the most valuable ones, because it contains the last abodes of worthy men and women.
History tells that in this bay, between 1514 and 1515, the Spanish conqueror Diego Velázquez founded the village of Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe. Nuevitas is one of the biggest exchange anchorages of Cuba, declared protected area in the Wildlife Refuge category due to the values it treasures.
From September 12th to 17th in 1973, the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro visited some areas in Vietnam, recently released in that moment, and he was the only foreign statesman who did it. In order to celebrate the 45th anniversary of this event, we evoke the Cuban leader’s tour through these snapshots.
Every weekend, from the capital city of Camagüey, and from the other municipalities, and even from other provinces, arrived to Santa Lucía Beach, hundreds of kilometers to the north of the city, thousands of vacationers drawn by the natural beauty of the environment.
"If we want to express how we aspire as our revolutionary combatants, our militants, our men, we must say without hesitation of any kind: to be like Che!" If we want to express how we are the men of the future generations, we must say: to be like Che! If we want to tell how we wish that they will educate our children, we must say without hesitation: we want that they are educated in the spirit of Che!
After a year of waiting, theCamagüey´s San Juan is here again. For some days the peal of the drums cheers the nights as announcement up to what it will be this new edition of one of the local traditions of major popular rooting, and that as such, from 12 a.m. of June 24 it brings occupied to the born in this soft region of shepherds and hats.
The Viñales Valley, paradisiacal charm, has emerged as a privileged site for the natural enjoyment, which may put at risk the safeguarding of its landscape and ornamental exclusivity.

Even with the feelings aroused by the Major General Ignacio Agramonte, our and in all of Cuba, on the 145 anniversary of his physical departure, the story transports us to a site revered by the locals: The Museum Fifth Simoni, in the vicinity of the Square of Havana, of this city.
